My Kid Up

My Kid Up is a behavioral intervention center focused on supporting children, young people, and adults with autism and other developmental, behavioral, learning, or social interaction difficulties. The organization aims to improve quality of life and promote social inclusion through early assessment and scientifically informed support.

Its services are based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), an evidence-based approach that uses assessment, individualized goals, and ongoing monitoring to build socially meaningful skills. Programs are tailored to each person’s abilities and needs, with measurable objectives across areas of development. Sessions are delivered in person, with one professional supporting each participant. The center’s team is led by Dr. Carla Martins, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who assesses clients, develops intervention programs, and oversees their implementation. Practitioners receive ongoing training and supervision.

Beyond direct intervention, My Kid Up promotes support programs, education and training, social and vocational integration, and resources for families and professionals. It also organizes scientific and educational activities, supports research, and undertakes social initiatives.
