My Little Preschool

My Little Preschool is a licensed early learning and childcare centre serving families in Ottawa South, including Riverside South. Established in 2008, the centre provides a welcoming, home-like setting where children can learn through play and develop practical life skills. Its two main programs are designed for toddlers and preschoolers, with activities and materials that encourage curiosity, creativity and early learning.

Children take part in art projects, sensory experiences, themed activities and cooking days, alongside free play and opportunities for outdoor games and sports. The centre’s large playground features a changing natural environment that supports gardening and active play. My Little Preschool also emphasizes nurturing care, family involvement and communication about children’s daily activities and progress.

The centre is part of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program, funded by the City of Ottawa and the Ministry of Education. Virtual centre tours are available weekly by appointment. Families can contact the centre by phone or email to arrange a visit; waiting lists are managed through the City of Ottawa’s Centralized Waiting List.
