My Messy Kitchen is a food blog created by Emily to help everyday home cooks make delicious, approachable meals and treats. The site began with recipes passed down from her mother and grandparents and has grown to include original recipes she develops herself. Its focus is on easy ideas that inspire readers to elevate their home cooking without making recipes feel out of reach.

The recipe collection covers a wide range of occasions and tastes, with categories including cookies, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, bars, pies, Rice Krispie treats, breakfast, main dishes, appetizers, and copycat recipes. Featured favorites include Nutella Brownies, Confetti Sheet Cake, Hostess Sheet Cake, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Marshmallow Treats, alongside savory options such as Pizza Bombs, Cheesy Garlic Knots, and Walking Taco Nachos. Seasonal recipes and baking ideas are also highlighted.

Visitors can browse all recipes, explore Emily’s favorites, and shop through the site’s Amazon storefront. My Messy Kitchen also shares recipe videos on social media and offers an email newsletter so readers can receive new recipes directly in their inbox.
