My Mind Check

My Mind Check is a free, government-funded online wellbeing platform for Australian schools, developed and delivered by Macquarie University with funding from the Australian Government Department of Education. Designed for students from Foundation to Year 12 in government and non-government schools, it uses brief, voluntary, evidence-based digital check-ins to help students reflect on how they are feeling and share their perspectives.

Completed in around 10–15 minutes, check-ins provide schools with real-time, non-diagnostic indicators of students’ wellbeing strengths, mental health needs and bullying experiences. A simple traffic-light system, follow-up framework and practical resources help staff interpret results and decide how to offer support. The platform is designed to complement existing wellbeing and anti-bullying programs, and is recognised as an evidence-based tool for early intervention.

My Mind Check also offers information and guidance for schools, a dedicated School Support Team, research findings, school stories and educational resources. Its aim is to help schools identify concerns early, encourage meaningful conversations and strengthen whole-school approaches to student mental health and wellbeing.
