My Motele is a family-led heritage website dedicated to preserving the history and memories of the Jewish community of Motele. Created by descendants of families from the town, the site was inspired by the recollections of Chaim Israeli and honors those who perished in the Holocaust. It shares information about Motele’s history and location, stories of former residents, family histories, photographs, and commemorative records, including Pages of Testimony gathered from Yad Vashem.

The website also documents memorial events, descendants and community groups in Israel, the United States, and Russia, and journeys back to Motele. Visitors can read articles and personal accounts, search for relatives, explore the town’s history, and contact the site’s contributors. The collection includes downloadable books, among them “The Destruction of Motele” and “The Story of Motele,” presented in Hebrew, with an English version available for the former.

Through these historical resources and family narratives, My Motele helps descendants and other interested readers connect with the town’s past and preserve its residents’ names and stories for future generations
