MyNeta is an open-data platform of the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), providing public access to information about candidates and elected representatives in India. Drawing primarily on affidavits submitted to the Election Commission of India, the site organizes candidates’ declared criminal cases, assets and liabilities, education, income, and profession. Its searchable records cover Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, state assembly, and local body elections, with information on candidates, winners, election expenses, and people contesting again.
MyNeta also publishes asset declarations for Union Council of Ministers and Rajya Sabha members, alongside data on political parties’ income and expenditure. Its Electoral Bonds section presents datasets released by the Election Commission and matched by ADR with political parties using unique codes. By making these disclosures easier to explore, MyNeta aims to support transparency, accountability, and informed voter choices.
The site states that its information comes from public records and cautions users to consult the Election Commission’s data if discrepancies arise. It is available in English and Hindi and also offers access to an app
