Nightingale Nursing

Nightingale Nursing is a San Diego-based center for breastfeeding, lactation medicine, and family wellness. Its team includes a nurse practitioner, advanced lactation nurses, International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, and educators who provide supportive, evidence-informed guidance from pregnancy through the postpartum period. The practice aims to help families feel empowered, confident, and informed as they pursue their infant-feeding goals, whatever their feeding method.

Services include prenatal appointments to prepare for feeding, assess risks such as low milk supply, and discuss potential latch challenges. Postpartum support addresses breastfeeding difficulties, milk supply concerns, pumping plans, flange fitting, returning to work, and feeding babies with complex needs, including those in the NICU. The team also offers bottle-feeding guidance, assessments for tongue ties, and help evaluating treatment options. Additional support includes mental health screenings, parent sleep routines, and guidance through the transition to parenthood. Nightingale Nursing provides classes, educational resources, and a blog for parents and families, and operates in partnership with LoveStrong Wellness.
