MYPROVEN ACADEMY

MyProven Academy provides practical cybersecurity training and live mentorship for people entering the field or advancing their careers. Its programs focus on governance, risk and compliance (GRC), vulnerability management, and container security, using hands-on projects to help learners build work they can present to employers. Led by mentor Kayode Osilaja, described as a practitioner with more than 20 years of experience, the academy offers weekly live sessions in a revolving 12-week cycle, with recordings for those who cannot attend.

Courses and services include the GRC Exit Track, vulnerability management training, comprehensive cybersecurity mentoring, a five-day job accelerator, and a free portfolio builder. Learners work on deliverables such as risk registers, gap assessments, system security plans, plans of action and milestones, and container scans. Training also covers frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and FedRAMP. The academy offers resume and job-search support, personalized strategy calls, and access to a cybersecurity career community.
