Seit der Gründung 2007 hat die inexio Informationstechnologie und Telekommunikation KGaA eine eigene Telekommunikations-Infrastruktur mit mehr als 2.500 Kilometern modernstem Glasfaserkabel in Südwestdeutschland und Luxemburg errichtet. Die beiden unternehmenseigenen Rechenzentren in Saarlouis und Kaiserslautern sorgen gemeinsam mit dem Rechenzentrum in Luxemburg und einem voll redundanten Next Generation Backbone zu den beiden Internetknoten in Frankfurt und Luxemburg dafür, dass inexio seinen Kunden sowohl Sicherheit als auch Leistung bietet. Rund tausend gewerbliche Kunden -von Konzern bis hin zum Mittelstand- vertrauen auf das leistungsfähige Angebot von inexio. In vielen Städten und Gemeinden - auch im ländlichen Bereich- betreibt inexio eigene City-Netze bzw. erschließt die Ortschaften mit Breitbandanschlüssen. Mit der Produktfamilie QUiX http://www.myquix.de ist ein eigenständiges Angebot für private Endkunden entstanden. Das Portfolio von inexio wird abgerundet durch die komplette Bandbreite der IT-Dienste, von der Konzeption über den Aufbau bis hin zum Betrieb von IT- & Internet-Lösungen. 2009 und 2010 gewann inexio im Wettbewerb Deloitte Fast 50 in der Kategorie Rising Star, war 2009 bis 2011 im Finale des Entrepreneur des Jahres Wettbewerbs von Ernst & Young und wurde 2009 von Euler Hermes für die transparenteste Finanzkommunikation im kleinen Mittelstand ausgezeichnet. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt inzwischen über 90 Mitarbeiter.
