My Silk Maps is a map design and production business based in New York State’s Capital District. Founded in 2016, the company focuses on creating and selling textile maps for outdoor venues, initially concentrating on local locations to build closer relationships and provide attentive service. Its work covers the full process, from consultation and design through production and delivery.

The product range includes maps for alpine ski areas, Nordic ski areas, hiking routes, parks, and golf courses. Alpine ski trail maps are developed in collaboration with the ski area team, while Nordic maps can represent cross-country trails in parks, commercial ski areas, or standalone venues. Hiking maps focus on specific regional routes and may also incorporate a facility’s broader trail network. Park maps are tailored to each site and may show facilities, features, hiking trails, events, themes, or other points of interest. Golf course maps provide a way to explore courses beyond those a player visits regularly.
