MySoleMatch

MySoleMatch is an independent shoe-finding guide designed to help people choose footwear suited to their foot conditions and daily needs. Its guided quiz takes about two minutes, asking users where they experience pain and gathering details such as activity level, foot width, orthotic use, and diabetic considerations. It then presents shoe recommendations with explanations of how each option relates to the user’s answers, rather than offering matches without context.

The site covers 36 foot conditions, including plantar fasciitis, bunions, flat feet, heel spurs, and diabetic neuropathy. Visitors can also browse a curated shoe catalogue, explore foot accessories, and find options for different lifestyles and occupations, from walking and standing all day to nursing, teaching, and construction work. Some recommended shoes carry acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association, which MySoleMatch identifies in its listings. Users can also create a free printable Foot Health Report to take to a podiatrist. The service requires no account, and its catalogue and recommendations are updated weekly.
