When repairs or other work are needed, Vellamore arranges trusted independent tradespeople, meets them at the home and stays while they work. Owners approve prices before work begins and receive trade invoices without a markup, referral fee or commission. Vellamore charges a monthly fee for its management service, separate from the cost of repairs. The company also maintains a register of local providers across 35 trades. Keys and access codes are securely held and logged, and Vellamore states that it is insured and bonded before beginning service or holding a client’s key.
