My Wedding Celebrant

My Wedding Celebrant provides wedding celebrant services in Sydney, Australia, led by Gary Tan, an experienced Commonwealth-registered Marriage Celebrant. Gary conducts ceremonies in English and Mandarin Chinese and supports couples through the legal steps required to marry in Australia. Before the wedding, he helps lodge the Notice of Intended Marriage, which must be submitted at least one month before the ceremony and remains valid for up to 18 months. Couples need to provide evidence of birth details, identity and the end of any previous marriages. On the wedding day, Gary guides the couple through the legal requirements and signing of three marriage certificates, witnessed by two adults.

Packages start at $400 and cover essential needs for solemnising a marriage. Optional services include attending the ceremony venue, a PA system, rehearsals, travel beyond 30 kilometres from Sydney, an official BDM marriage certificate, wedding planning and coordination, invitation cards, and professional photography. Gary also holds project management qualifications and offers planning and coordination support, including on the day.
