MZC'80

Maldense Zwemclub MZC’80 is a community swimming club based at the swimming pool in Malden. It offers three groups for children and young people, along with a conditioning group for adults. The club focuses on developing swimming strokes and improving fitness through enjoyable, active training in a welcoming atmosphere. Its programs help members build swimming skills that can serve them throughout life, while making sport a shared social experience.

Alongside regular training, MZC’80 organizes activities such as club championships, pyjama swims, disco swims, a swimming camp and social gatherings. New participants are invited to try swimming with the club free of charge on three occasions. The club also promotes swimming among local children through school swimming.

MZC’80 supports affordable membership through community fundraising, including collecting waste paper in Malden, the annual Grote Club Actie and online shopping through SponsorKliks. These efforts help maintain and replace equipment such as fins, hand paddles and games. Members can also receive a discount on swimwear and accessories at Scholtens Sport.
