The Nabaztag is a communicating object in the shape of a rabbit (nabaztag, նապաստակ, is an Armenian word that can be translated as rabbit or hare). Imagined and created by Rafi Haladjian and Olivier Mevel, it was launched in June 2005 and then released in 2006 in its advanced version: the Nabaztag:tag. It is the forerunner of connected objects and the Internet of Things, and the precursor of smart speakers like Alexa or Google Home. The Nabaztag emits voice or light messages, and can also wiggle its ears.

Nabaztag, Karotz & Cie is an information and support site dedicated to connected rabbit devices, including Nabaztag and Karotz. It brings together background on the products, technical documentation, setup guidance, a wiki, forums, and links to community projects. The original Nabaztag, created by Rafi Haladjian and Olivier Mével and launched by Violet in 2005, is a rabbit-shaped communicating device that can deliver voice and light messages and move its ears.
The later Nabaztag:tag added voice recognition and MP3 playback. Although the official servers have closed, the site explains ways to restore and use the devices through alternative services. Its guidance covers setup for both Nabaztag versions, including registration with OpenJabNab and use of the Controller maintained by Wizz.
