NABHET

Netley Abbey and Butlocks Heath Educational Trust is a registered charity that supports the education and development of children and young people up to the age of 25 who live in the parish of Hound. The Trust provides grants to local schools, community groups and individuals, helping fund opportunities for learning, personal growth and participation.

Its group funding assists local teams and community organisations, including groups such as Scouts and Guides, with equipment and resources. Individual funding supports residents pursuing self-development. The Trust also offers annual academic and sporting awards, each worth £2,000, to recognise and assist one individual demonstrating excellence in the relevant field.

The charity’s support has benefited local schools and community organisations, as well as young people pursuing academic, sporting and personal goals. Applications are considered through scheduled funding meetings, with deadlines published by the Trust. By directing grants to people and groups in its local parish, Netley Abbey and Butlocks Heath Educational Trust aims to encourage young residents to develop their abilities and take part in educational and community activities.
