About Nabu Casa
Nabu Casa creates the official Home Assistant products, helping people get started with a private, connected smart home. Its services and hardware are designed to make Home Assistant easier to set up and use, while keeping control of the home and its data with the user. Home Assistant Link, formerly called Home Assistant Cloud, securely connects a Home Assistant system for access from anywhere.
It also supports safe backups, control through Google Home and Alexa, responsive camera and music streaming, human support, and building a private voice assistant. New customers can start with a 31-day trial. Nabu Casa also offers Home Assistant Hardware: powerful devices designed to pair with Home Assistant and make getting started more effortless.
The company describes itself as privacy-driven and fiercely independent, stating that it does not want users’ data and does not record it. It says purchases fund its work without venture capital or private equity, with most profits going to the foundation behind Home Assistant
