Jonášek Foundation is a Czech charitable organization established in December 2010 to support children with cancer and their families. It was inspired by Jonášek, a child who hoped that, after recovering from his illness, he could bring happiness to other children facing the same challenges. The foundation was created to carry that wish forward, offering practical help and moments of joy to children and their families.

Donations are used to assist individual children and to purchase specialized equipment for oncology departments. Support may also fund rehabilitation, medical aids, gifts chosen to fulfil children’s wishes, and other material or financial needs. The foundation organizes fundraising events, including charity walks, concerts, seasonal gift collections and community campaigns with local businesses. Supporters can contribute by donating money, purchasing event merchandise, choosing a child’s requested gift or taking part in an event. The foundation also shares news and information about its activities online. Its team members work without pay, helping ensure that support is directed toward children and families who need it.
