The National Animal Disease Information Service (NADIS) provides animal health guidance and practical resources for farmers and veterinary professionals, with a focus on improving animal and soil health. Its website covers livestock including cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, game birds, camelids and goats, offering a Disease A–Z, health planning information and animal health skills resources. NADIS also publishes monthly herd and flock health updates and information on specific conditions, such as lungworm and bovine TB in cattle, bluetongue and liver fluke in sheep, and milking problems in sows and gilts.

A key service is its parasite forecasting and alerts, including guidance on Nematodirus, blowfly strike and liver fluke. Developed in collaboration with specialists at Liverpool Veterinary School and the University of Bristol, the service provides farm-specific forecasts based on local risk zones. Subscribers can access decision support to help plan parasite monitoring, treatment and prevention, alongside feedback from a sentinel flock network.
