Nigerian Association Of Dental Students

The Nigerian Association of Dental Students (NADS) is the national umbrella body representing dental students at accredited dental schools across Nigeria. Founded in 1974, it brings students together through a shared community focused on dental education, professional development, leadership and oral health advocacy. Its vision is to unite and empower dental students while advancing excellence and creating national and global impact.

NADS supports collaboration among member associations and provides opportunities to connect, learn and contribute. Its activities include national and regional conventions, workshops, mentorship, community outreach and discussion forums. Students can also explore stories and perspectives through the NADS blog, and submit research or editorial work for its articles and journal. The organisation’s website features its national and chapter executives, member schools, events and a gallery documenting community life.

With member associations from universities across Nigeria, NADS fosters a network that can extend beyond graduation. Its programmes and resources encourage academic growth, professional collaboration and service to communities, reflecting its guiding idea: “Dentistry Beyond Cavity.”.
