Nadzieja is a nonprofit association in Tuchów, Poland, established in 1991 by people committed to supporting children and adults with disabilities. The association’s mission is to promote the dignity, happiness and quality of life of people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, encourage their equal place in family and society, and support their families, caregivers and friends. It serves 41 people with conditions including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, West syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.

Nadzieja organizes regular community gatherings, charity initiatives, campfires, group trips, social outings and rehabilitation stays. These activities offer opportunities for companionship, inclusion and shared experiences for participants and their families. The association has built the Dom Nadziei, a planned center intended to provide people with disabilities with suitable conditions for development and rehabilitation, and is seeking donations to complete and equip it. Supporters can contribute through fundraising, bank donations or Poland’s 1.5% tax allocation program. Nadzieja also shares news, event information and community stories, reflecting its long-standing commitment to building an active, supportive community around people with disabilities.
