About NAECOB
NAECOB, the National Accreditation and Equivalency Council of The Bahamas, is a leading quality assurance body that ensures the accreditation of institutions and education providers in the country. Established in 2006 under the National Accreditation and Equivalency Council ACT, NAECOB is responsible for registering and accrediting primary schools, secondary schools, post-secondary schools, and any institution offering training in The Bahamas. With a mission to provide quality assurance and promote shared values and practices, NAECOB facilitates self-evaluation and peer reviews to address the needs of students and society.
The council envisions becoming a model quality assurance body, ensuring that all educational institutions and providers meet established regulations and continuously enhance their quality. NAECOB operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 a. m.
