Officially launched in Tehran in 1373, the association has been dedicated to promoting recovery and spiritual support for its members without maintaining any documentation of attendance, in line with the principle of anonymity. Having received national-level accreditation from the Naja Security Police in 1385 and the respected Ministry of the Country in 1392, the NA continues to hold numerous sessions nationwide daily, aiding addicted individuals in overcoming their struggles.
The Association boasts a network of 5050 male and 305 female groups across various cities and rural areas, fostering a supportive environment for rehabilitation. With a central office located in Tehran, the NA Regional Council operates in 32 service areas nationwide, underscoring the success of the association's principles in battling addiction
