Nairn Sailing Club is a friendly, informal sailing club based on the harbour front in Nairn, Scotland. Established in 1968, it brings together people interested in sailing, racing and social cruises, and welcomes prospective members of all experience levels. The club has a popular cruiser section, with races and social voyages held throughout the year, as well as a small, growing dinghy fleet.
Members can use the club’s sailing dinghies for a modest annual fee, making it possible to take part without owning a boat. The club is not a sailing-training organisation, but it can direct beginners to local training partners, including Findhorn Watersports, Chanonry Sailing Club and Loch Insh Outdoor Centre. On shore, members meet at the clubhouse, which overlooks the harbour and has a bar.
Friday club nights take place during the sailing season, alongside regular social events throughout the year. Nairn Sailing Club also shares news, events and information through its website and Facebook page
