The National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS) is a leading organization dedicated to providing high-performance computing, data storage, and comprehensive data services tailored for academic users throughout Sweden. Hosted by Linköping University, NAISS operates independently while maintaining a national perspective that ensures equitable access to its resources.

Funded primarily by the Swedish Research Council, NAISS enhances its user support through the collaboration of multiple universities, forming a decentralized support structure. The organization manages a diverse range of existing systems, including Dardel, Tetralith, Alvis, Bianca, and Rackham, alongside various cloud and storage services situated across Sweden.

As part of its ongoing mission, NAISS aims to consolidate new hardware resources into a centralized national site while continuing to develop local branches in partnership with universities. Under the leadership of Acting Director Björn Alling, NAISS remains committed to advancing academic research and innovation through state-of-the-art computational resources and support services.
