Naka Ima

Naka Ima is a Kyokushin karate dojo in Montfort, the Netherlands, founded in 2009 by Sensei Frank Richter and Senpai Wendy Simons to promote and teach a martial art intended for lifelong practice. Affiliated with the NKKO/KWF, the dojo offers regular indoor and outdoor training for children, cadets and adults, with sessions typically held twice weekly at Sporthal de Koeweide. Members may also take part in competitions, events, central training sessions at Papendal and an international summer camp.

Training is led by Sensei Frank, a fourth-dan practitioner with nearly 50 years of Kyokushin experience, a recognised Martial Arts Teacher qualification and international chief-referee experience. Senpai Wendy, a second dan, and Senpai Britt, a first dan, support instruction. The dojo welcomes prospective members to observe or try a free introductory lesson. It also invites enquiries about self-defence training. Membership fees vary by age and weekly attendance, are paid quarterly, and exclude separate grading costs and optional NKKO membership. Family discounts are available.
