Produksjon av rognkjeks som beitefisk på lakselus. Vi selger både sjøklar rognkjeks som benyttes i oppdrettsanlegg for laks eller som yngel til andre rognkjeksanlegg. Siden 2017 har vi arbeidet sammen med AquaGen om utviklingen av avlsprogram på rognkjeks. Avlsanlegget åpnet i 2019 og de første leveransene med avlsfisk ble levert i 2021. Dette er i dag en sentral del av vår virksomhet. Anlegget er det eneste av sitt slag i hele verden og bak selskapet står en solid eiergruppe bestående av Mowi, Emilsen Fisk, SalmoNor, AquaGen, Nova Sea og Bjørøya.

About Namdal Rensefisk
Namdal Rensefisk is a reputable brand that specializes in the responsible breeding of clean fish. As the world's first breeding facility for roe cod, they have been in operation since 2014. Their main focus is producing roe cod as a natural solution to combat salmon lice.
Namdal Rensefisk offers two options for their fish: sea-ready roe cod for use in salmon farms and selected young fish for further breeding purposes. In collaboration with AquaGen, they have developed a breeding program for roe cod, with their state-of-the-art facility opening in 2019. This facility is the only one of its kind worldwide.
