About NAMI Coastal Virginia
NAMI Coastal Virginia is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, serving the Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, and Eastern Shore communities. They offer a range of programs and resources aimed at providing support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by mental illness.
Their services include free support groups, both online and in-person, as well as classes and educational programs. NAMI Coastal Virginia is dedicated to eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health conditions and improving the lives of those affected.
