Ali's own residence, where she took in children in need of a secure place to call home. Despite facing challenges, such as having the home's roof torn off during Hurricane Hugo, the community rallied together to renovate and ensure the safety and comfort of the children. Today, Nana Baby Children's Home accommodates up to 12 children at any given time.

The home features separate rooms for boys and girls, a playroom, an office, and a spacious play area. The dedicated staff provides love, safety, nutritious meals, a clean bed, and all essential needs to the children in their care. Nana Baby Children's Home works closely with the Department of Human Services, which places children in crisis at the facility.

The home is the only 24-hour facility on the island and can admit children at any time, day or night. Monthly stipends from DHS and additional funding from community partners and individual donors allow Nana Baby Children's Home to continue its vital work.
