About NANGO Zimbabwe
NANGO Zimbabwe, the National Association of Non-Governmental Organisations, serves as the official voluntary coordinating body for registered NGOs in Zimbabwe. With a diverse range of NGOs operating within the country, NANGO plays a crucial role in peacebuilding, capacity building, communication and networking, as well as human rights and governance programs. NANGO values inclusivity and aims to meet the development needs of men, women, and children in Zimbabwe.
Through its 10 thematic sectors, including youth, health, women, and disability, NANGO addresses an amalgamation of issues and representative groups. Their initiatives focus on creating a conducive environment for civil society organizations (CSOs) by advocating for policy changes, strengthening coordination and capacity, and conducting research and policy advocacy.
