NannyPay, from Essentia Software Corporation, provides cloud-based do-it-yourself payroll software designed to help families manage household employees. Its service supports employers of nannies, babysitters, housekeepers, personal assistants, caregivers, and other household staff, including those providing child, senior, or pet care. Rather than using a payroll service, families can use NannyPay to calculate payroll taxes, track employee payroll records, print pay stubs, and prepare year-end tax forms.

The software includes W-2 and W-3 forms and Schedule H, supports up to three employees, and offers step-by-step setup, secure online access, and no added or hidden fees, according to the site. NannyPay also provides educational resources through its FAQs, blog, and NannyPay University, with guidance for first-time household employers on tax withholding and filing requirements. Customers can try NannyPay Cloud with a 14-day risk-free trial; a free 30-day trial of the desktop product is also available.

The brand positions its software as a straightforward, affordable alternative to household payroll services
