Naonedbus is an independent transport app for Nantes and Loire-Atlantique, developed voluntarily by a Nantes resident. It brings travel information for the region’s public transport and mobility services together in one place, using official open data from Naolib (SEMITAN), the Pays de la Loire region and SNCF. The app covers Naolib buses, trams, Busway and Navibus, Tram-Train lines T1 and T2, SNCF TER trains and Aléop coaches, as well as Bicloo bicycle hire and parking in Nantes Métropole.
Passengers can check live departure times and service information, follow a journey with voice guidance, and receive an alert on a Wear OS smartwatch before their stop. The app also offers offline access to scheduled timetables, which can be useful when travelling in rural areas with limited connectivity. Naonedbus is available for Android through Google Play and is free to use, with no account, advertising or subscription required. It is not affiliated with the transport operators. Users can also find assistance, read the blog, join the Discord community or make a donation.
