NAPAD (Nomadic Assistance for Peace and Development) is a Non-Governmental development organization that is committed to promoting effective and sustainable community transformation in the Horn of Africa. With a vision of a just, peaceful, and prosperous society, NAPAD works towards the advancement of social, economic, ecological, and political justice.

NAPAD operates on a non-profit basis and partners with local communities, organizations, NGOs, and international organizations to ensure vulnerable and poverty-stricken individuals, particularly riverine, pastoral, and agro-pastoral communities, experience peace, improved living conditions, and sustainable development.

Starting as a Community Based Organization (CBO) in Kenya in 2004, NAPAD has evolved to become a Local Non-Governmental Organization (LNGO) in Somalia and Kenya. NAPAD maintains offices in various locations including Elwak, Abudwak Garbaharrey, Dolow, Somalia, Mandera, and Nairobi, Kenya. Committed to transparency, accountability, and efficiency, NAPAD pursues its mission through a range of programs focused on humanitarian aid, education, livelihoods, resilience, advocacy, governance, and WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene).
