About NAPTIP
NAPTIP, short for the National Agency For The Prohibition Of Trafficking In Persons, is a dedicated organization in Nigeria that aims to combat human trafficking and protect the rights of survivors. With a strong presence on social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, NAPTIP actively engages with the public and raises awareness about the issue. NAPTIP offers a wide range of services to address the different aspects of human trafficking.
Their units include Procurement, Reforms/Servicom, Press and Public Relation, Freedom of Information, Intelligence and International Cooperation, Internal Audit, Rapid Response Squad, Provost, and Language. Additionally, they have various departments such as Administration, Finance and Account, Counselling and Rehabilitation, Investigation and Monitoring, Legal and Prosecution, Public Enlightenment, Research and Programme Development, Training and Manpower Development, Information and Communication Technology, and Violence Against Persons Prohibition (VAPP). NAPTIP operates through several zonal and state commands, ensuring their presence is felt across Nigeria.
