Natural Art Reef

Natural Art Reef (NAR) is a nonprofit association dedicated to defending the sea and advancing marine restoration across the Mediterranean. Building on three generations of experience connected to the ocean, NAR develops nature-based solutions that support biodiversity, ecological recovery and the blue economy. Its work combines blue infrastructure, environmental consultancy and marine research, with projects designed to address ecological, social, economic, nautical and scientific needs.

NAR creates handcrafted structures based on calcium carbonate, including artificial reefs and marine biotopes intended to replicate natural biological processes and provide habitat for marine life. Its solutions include reef parks, large-scale reefs, ecological buoy systems, coastal protection and smart reefs. The association also offers environmental, scientific and technical services, develops strategic projects for the ecological transition, and carries out marine conservation and restoration initiatives.

Its projects include habitat restoration, support for species such as the white seabream, Mediterranean forest recovery and citizen science. NAR invites companies, individuals, universities, students and volunteers to participate through collaboration, donations, memberships and educational experiences, helping bring people closer to the sea.
