Narębski Point

Stowarzyszenie “Narębski Point” is a Polish association dedicated to continuing the ideas and work of Professor Wojciech Narębski, a soldier of the Polish Second Corps, participant in the Battle of Monte Cassino, distinguished scientist, and advocate of Polish-Italian friendship. Based in Kraków, the association preserves the memory of Narębski and the soldiers who fought under General Władysław Anders, while encouraging younger generations to engage with this history.

Its activities include commemorative ceremonies at monuments and memorial sites, historical gatherings, and projects focused on the Second Corps, Monte Cassino, and the bear Wojtek. The association collaborates with schools, scouts, museums, military representatives, and cultural organizations. Its educational work includes supporting student filmmaking and historical journeys along the Second Corps’ battle route. The organization also shares news, bibliographic resources, and information about educational initiatives, grants, and memorial projects. Through these events and resources, Narębski Point brings together community members and institutions to honor veterans, sustain remembrance, and make Polish wartime history meaningful to future generations.
