Narrenbunt

Koblenzer NarrenbunT 2007 e.V. is a carnival association based in Koblenz and the only queer carnival club in the wider Koblenz area. Known for its distinctive “Olau Warm” greeting, the organization reimagines carnival traditions with a bold, colorful and inclusive approach. Its annual NarrenbunT sessions bring themed performances to the stage, combining humor, spectacle and queer expression. Members also take part in Koblenz’s Rose Monday parade with the “Bunte Josephas” walking group and a carnival float.

The association’s activities extend throughout the year, reflecting its commitment to equality, acceptance and diversity, and to standing visibly against stigma, discrimination and exclusion. Its community program includes gatherings and events, with updates shared through an online calendar, news posts and photo galleries. Visitors can explore event highlights, follow the club’s activities, attend performances, buy tickets, join the association or support it as a sponsor. Koblenzer NarrenbunT also participates in local initiatives and events, including Pride celebrations, and offers a welcoming place for people who want to enjoy carnival and get involved in a lively, inclusive community.
