Narrenzunft “AHA” Weil der Stadt e. V. is a community association dedicated to preserving and celebrating the Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet, the region’s traditional carnival.

Based in Weil der Stadt, Germany, the guild traces its tradition to 1665 and brings together members and visitors through seasonal festivities, cultural activities, and shared participation. Its work encompasses a variety of groups and characters, including Schlehengeister, Weiler Bären, Spicklingsweiber, Steckentäler, Hexen, Schelme, and Schellenteufel, as well as the AHA-Ballett and a brass band. The association also organizes traditional events such as the Hexenball, Zunftball, and a large Fasnet procession.

Beyond celebrations, it supports the customs through float building, a local fool’s newspaper, and the Narrenmuseum, while sharing the history and cultural significance of Fasnet, including its recognition as intangible cultural heritage. The guild publishes news, photographs, and historical information, and welcomes people interested in learning about the tradition or becoming members. Its activities are grounded in community, creativity, and passing the distinctive customs of Weil der Stadt on to future generations
