Narrenzunft Brochenzell e.V. is a traditional carnival society based in Brochenzell, dedicated to preserving and celebrating Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet. Founded in 1957, the association brings people together through local customs, community events and the shared enjoyment of the carnival season. Its website reports 1,073 members and four mask groups, reflecting a broad community rooted in regional tradition.
The society organizes a yearly program of celebrations, including a carnival opening ball, children’s events, parades, a tree-raising ceremony, village festivities and a closing gathering. It also features dance groups and a Kids Club, and invites people to learn about its history, masks, costumes, songs and customs. Group visits offer an opportunity to introduce the guild, its traditional attire and its story to local schools and kindergartens.
For members and visitors, the organization provides event schedules, news, historical information, membership forms and details about its leadership and structure. It also works with sponsors and partner guilds, and has supported charitable causes, including a donation to a premature infants’ ward.
