NASA Harvest Portal is the data repository and distribution platform of NASA Harvest, a consortium advancing the use of satellite Earth observations to support food security, agriculture, and human and environmental resilience. It provides searchable access to datasets, services, metadata, and data descriptions from organizations working in these fields. The catalog includes agricultural and food-system information from sources such as satellite imagery and crop data, with resources organized by providers and thematic areas including crop production, food security, and climate impacts.

The portal offers tools and services for discovering and using this information. Its read-only API enables programmatic searching and querying, while an MCP connection allows compatible AI assistants to explore the catalog. The portal’s data also powers partner applications, including Harvest2Market, which connects crop monitoring with market, trade, and food-security information; the IGC Ports Dashboard, which tracks grain and oilseed shipping congestion and connectivity; and a yield intercomparison tool for examining crop models and datasets.
