Nashaway Equine

Nashaway Equine is a mobile veterinary practice focused on routine equine dentistry and spinal manipulation, serving horses in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. Led by Dr. Laura Parisio-Wood, an equine veterinarian since 2007 and a Veterinary Medical Manipulation practitioner certified in 2018, the practice aims to support comfort, health, and wellbeing in horses of all ages, breeds, and performance disciplines.

Its dental services include a thorough oral examination, dental floating, and uncomplicated tooth extractions when needed. The goal is to help horses chew effectively and comfortably throughout their lives. Nashaway Equine also provides veterinary chiropractic therapy, using movement assessment, motion palpation, and directed manual adjustments to address restrictions and promote spinal comfort. Digital radiographic imaging of the head, particularly the teeth and sinuses, is available to help investigate abnormalities identified during an oral exam. Imaging findings can be shared with other members of a horse’s veterinary team as appropriate.

With an emphasis on preventative care and a whole-horse perspective, Nashaway Equine offers specialized services through appointments arranged by phone or email.
