About Nasher Sculpture Center
The Nasher Sculpture Center, located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, is a renowned brand and international focal point for the study, installation, conservation, and appreciation of modern and contemporary sculpture. Established in 2003, it houses the Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection, featuring over 300 masterpieces by esteemed artists such as Calder, Matisse, Picasso, and Serra, to name a few. The museum, designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano in collaboration with landscape architect Peter Walker, presents rotating exhibitions from the Nasher family collection and other museums.
In addition to indoor gallery spaces, visitors can also explore the auditorium, education and research facilities, cafe, and store. The one-and-a-half-acre sculpture garden offers a tranquil setting to appreciate approximately 25 large-scale sculptures. Renzo Piano, the genius architect, has seamlessly integrated art, architecture, and advanced engineering in his exceptional design for the Nasher Sculpture Center.
