About Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce
The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit business federation that has represented Middle Tennessee’s business community since 1847. It brings together businesses, civic leaders, and elected officials to support regional prosperity and make the Nashville area a place where people and companies can live, work, and grow. The Chamber offers members opportunities to build relationships, promote their businesses, and engage with the wider community through networking, a member directory, ribbon cuttings, sponsorships, and more than 100 events each year.
Its programs include professional development, leadership and community initiatives, and resources for young professionals. The organization also supports economic development by helping attract and retain companies and talent, and advances workforce and education solutions spanning pre-K–12, postsecondary study, and adult education.
