About Nasjonalparkene
Lierne National Park Center is the visitation center for the Lierne and Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella National Parks. Our aim is to be a gateway to nature and outdoor experiences. As an information center, we provide a wealth of knowledge about the national parks and environmental conservation.
Our mission is to promote an understanding of the importance of preserving vulnerable ecosystems, species, and the value of large contiguous natural areas. Step inside our center to explore the exhibition Living off Nature - Living with Predators. Outside, during the warmer months, you can visit the Lierne Geology Park.
Both of these attractions offer unique insights into the natural wonders of the region. Additionally, we are currently in the process of revising the management plan for the Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella/Låarte-Skæhkere National Park and the Skjækra Landscape Protection Area. We welcome feedback and suggestions as we undertake this important work.
