Nassau County Aquarium Society is a community organization for aquarium enthusiasts in Nassau County and the surrounding area. Welcoming beginners and experienced hobbyists alike, the society offers opportunities to learn, share knowledge, and connect with others interested in keeping fish and maintaining aquariums. It holds monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month at Molloy University in Rockville Centre, except during its July and August summer break.

Meetings may feature presentations, auctions, raffles, and a bowl show, where members can enter fish for judging. Members can also take part in the Breeders Award Program, earning points toward levels of achievement and the Breeder of the Year award. Membership includes participation in door-prize drawings and auctions, as well as a subscription to Pisces Press, the society’s official publication.

The organization also shares photo galleries, virtual tours of members’ fish rooms, and visits to local fish stores. Its calendar, directions, contact details, and membership information help visitors explore activities and get involved
