About NatCen
NatCen is a registered charity and the largest independent and not-for-profit social research organization in the UK. Founded in 1969 by Sir Roger Jowell and Gerald Hoinville, our mission is to conduct rigorous social policy research to improve society. With over 50 years of experience, we are experts in understanding people and their perspectives.
We have asked the public about thousands of different issues, giving us invaluable insights into human behavior and attitudes. Setting the standard in social research, we drive innovation in survey methods and methodology, offering a range of research solutions to help you better understand your stakeholders. We pride ourselves on engaging with challenging or under-represented groups, making sure that everyone's voice is heard.
Our flagship project, the British Social Attitudes survey, has been running since 1983 and serves as a valuable resource for researchers. Additionally, we collect official national statistics for the UK government, covering areas such as housing, health, diet, and nutrition. By choosing NatCen, you can trust that your research is in capable hands
