Nathan Phillips Skate Rentals provides skate rental services at the outdoor ice rink in Nathan Phillips Square, one of Toronto’s well-known seasonal attractions. Set against the square’s urban backdrop, festive lights, and holiday tree, the rink offers visitors a place to skate with family and friends in the heart of the city. The rental shop operates daily from November 29 through March 16, from 10 a.

m. to 9:45 p. m., including December 24 and 25; all skates must be returned by 10 p.

m. Rentals are priced for two hours: $10 for children aged 12 and under and $15 for adults. Helmets and hats and mitts are available for $10 each.

The shop also offers hockey skate sharpening for $10 on weekdays from 10 a. m. to 4 p.

m. Reservations are not accepted. A valid photo ID is required as a deposit; student IDs are not accepted.
