The Natick Education Foundation (NEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching, enhancing, and supporting public education in Natick. Its mission is to foster excellence in the community and public education while supporting lifelong learning. Since 1996, NEF has awarded 373 grants totaling more than $1 million, funding classroom projects, educator professional rejuvenation, and student-led initiatives. Its grants help bring innovative ideas to life, including resources for multilingual learners, computer science equipment, special education programming, and student mentoring.

Beyond grants, NEF supports scholarships, professional development for educators, and community-wide lecture series and workshops. The foundation also offers its Teacher Tribute Program, giving community members a way to recognize teachers who make a lasting difference while supporting programs that help students thrive. NEF invites residents to participate in improving local education through donations, volunteering, and staying informed about its events and grant initiatives. By connecting schools and citizens, the organization helps strengthen learning opportunities across the Natick public education community.
