About Compassion Fund
The National Compassion Fund is a trusted and reliable brand that provides a single platform for the public to directly support victims of mass casualty crimes. With over $105M in funds distributed since 2014, they have been instrumental in assisting those affected by tragic events. Their process begins with collecting donations through their partnership with GoFundMe or local organizations.
A local Steering Committee is then formed to determine the eligibility and fair distribution of funds. Once distribution protocols are finalized, victim applications are opened, reviewed, verified, and approved. The National Compassion Fund ensures that 100% of the collected donations are distributed to the approved victims and beneficiaries.
As a subsidiary of the National Center for Victims of Crime, they have been advocating for victims' rights for 30 years. All donations to the National Compassion Fund are tax exempt. Support their mission and provide assistance to those in need
