National Day of Adventure

National Day of Adventure (NDoA) encourages people to embrace adventure activities as a practical way to support a healthy, fulfilling lifestyle. Its message centers on wellness as an ongoing process of physical and mental growth, rather than simply the absence of illness. The initiative invites people to make movement part of everyday life, whether through biking, swimming, yoga, taking the stairs, or walking a little farther.

NDoA also highlights the value of community and companionship in sustaining healthy habits. It presents wellness as a broad, everyday practice that can include self-care, healthy eating, physical activity, creative pursuits, relationships with the community and environment, and personal beliefs. The website offers an adventure calendar, activity suggestions, a blog, frequently asked questions, and information about official NDoA base camps. Visitors can also sign up for the newsletter to receive updates. Together, these resources help people discover ways to get active, connect with others, and pursue greater vitality, purpose, and well-being.
